Chispa is a quarterly publication of the Tuolumne County Historical Society covering a wide range of historical subjects. Each issue contains one or more articles focusing on a significant person, event, or place in the history of Tuolumne County. In 1961, the publication was initially called, The Quarterly, and later renamed Chispa in 1969. In 2010, there is no Chispa, Vol. 50, No. 3 and 4, so that Chispa, Vol. 51, No. 1 will coincide with the calendar year.
Each CD contains 10-years of Chispa articles in Adobe Reader PDF format and every-word searchable. Adobe Reader can be downloaded for free: get.adobe.com/reader/.
